Aircraft Check

Check any general-aviation aircraft—whether you own it, are considering buying or selling it, or simply want to understand how it compares with similar aircraft.

Invictum Aero prepares a standardized report combining available aircraft, fleet, market and operational information. Where a specific purchase is being considered, the report also highlights matters that may require further verification before commitment.

Request a Free Aircraft Check

One aircraft. The relevant context.

An aircraft registration or advertisement provides only part of the picture. Aircraft Check brings together available information about the selected aircraft, the wider fleet and the current market to provide a clearer basis for further research, ownership decisions or preliminary purchase assessment.

01

Aircraft and fleet comparison

  • Aircraft manufacturer, type and variant
  • Year of manufacture and aircraft age
  • Number of comparable aircraft identified in the available data
  • Average and median fleet age, where the data supports this
  • The selected aircraft’s age position within the comparable fleet
  • Geographic fleet distribution
  • Estimated active fleet, where this can be reasonably established
02

Market context

  • Comparable aircraft currently advertised for sale
  • Available asking-price range
  • The selected aircraft’s position relative to relevant advertised aircraft
  • Market availability and scarcity
  • Preliminary liquidity and resale-context indicators
03

Identity and activity

  • Available registration, type and manufacturing information
  • Recent flight activity, where available
  • Comparison with the activity of similar aircraft, where sufficient data exists
  • Apparent inconsistencies or missing information requiring clarification
04

Purchase-specific layer

If you are considering buying the aircraft, the report may also include:

  • Observations regarding the aircraft advertisement
  • Comparison of listing information with available external data
  • Relevant registration, operational, accident or incident information
  • Questions relating to title, security, VAT, importation or registration
  • Aircraft-specific questions to raise with the seller
  • Recommended next due-diligence steps

How Aircraft Check works

01

Identify the aircraft

Provide its registration, manufacturer and model, serial number or a link to the advertisement.

02

Tell us why you are checking it

Let us know whether you own the aircraft, are considering buying or selling it, or are conducting general research.

03

Receive the report

Invictum Aero will review the submitted information and prepare a standardized report, normally within five working hours after receiving sufficiently complete information.

Important scope limitations

Aircraft Check is based on the information submitted and data available from external sources at the time of review. It is not a certified aircraft valuation, technical inspection, airworthiness review, definitive title search or legal or tax opinion. A professional pre-purchase inspection and appropriate specialist advice may still be required.

Request an Aircraft Check

Start by telling us why you are checking the aircraft. The form will then show the additional information relevant to an owner, prospective buyer, prospective seller or general researcher.

01Why would you like to check this aircraft?
02Contact details
03Identify the aircraft

Provide the information currently available. If a listing already contains the relevant details, you do not need to repeat everything.

Please provide at least the registration, serial number, a listing link, or the manufacturer and model so that the aircraft can be identified sufficiently.

Required confirmations

No payment is required.

Aircraft Check questions

Can I check an aircraft I do not own?

Yes. You may request an Aircraft Check for an aircraft you own, an aircraft you are considering buying or selling, or any aircraft you want to research, provided enough identifying information is available.

What information does Aircraft Check provide?

Every report includes available aircraft, fleet and market context. Depending on the aircraft and purpose, it may also include registration, activity, listing and preliminary purchase-related observations based on the sources reviewed.

Does Aircraft Check replace a technical pre-purchase inspection?

No. Aircraft Check is a preliminary informational report. It does not verify technical condition, maintenance compliance or airworthiness and does not replace a professional pre-purchase inspection.

Is Aircraft Check a certified valuation?

No. The report may compare available asking prices and market information, but it is not a certified appraisal or a precise determination of aircraft value.

Is Aircraft Check free?

Yes. Invictum Aero provides Aircraft Check at no charge. The service helps us refine the report structure and understand which information pilots and aircraft owners find most useful.
